Northwinds Travel Co. is a worldwide travel atelier built on the belief that great travel is craft — and that craft deserves to be felt at every stage of the journey.
Our story
Built for travelers who expect more.
Northwinds began with a simple observation: travelers from East Africa — and the diaspora returning home — were being underserved by the standard agency model. Forms, call centers, and templated itineraries weren't equal to the journeys they were planning.
So we built a travel atelier that works the other way. One concierge. A direct line. A studio-style process that treats every itinerary as a piece of work. And a worldwide network of partners who answer the moment we call.
Today, we plan journeys to more than 120 destinations across 6 continents — from honeymoons in the Maldives to multi-generational reunions in London, from quiet safari weeks in Laikipia to weeks of business travel through the Gulf.

Northwinds began with a question our own families kept asking: why is travel — the most personal, most anticipated thing we plan all year — so often handled like a transaction?
We built this atelier to answer that. Every itinerary we write is one designer, one number, one quiet promise: that the trip you take will match the trip you imagined. Whether it's a private safari, a homecoming after twenty years away, a medical residency that needs care after the surgery, or a last-minute boarding from anywhere on the map — the standard is the same.
